CURATORIAL
Creative Lattice projects have taken many forms over the years. From organizing group shows, to art fairs, running a small project space to writing about art. The name has changed, from Midnight Society to 42 Social Club and finally all residing under the umbrella Creative Lattice. The idea has always been the same: championing artist driven communities and expanding visibility for under-recognized artists.

42 SOCIAL CLUB - project space
Situated on Cedar Lake in a traditional straw bale and stucco farmhouse, 42 Social Club is a privately run artist residency and gallery space. Just as the first straw bale houses were built in the late 19th century out of necessity and with little capital, 42 Social Club continues a tradition of DIY culture. Allowing creatives and intellectuals a contemplative space and the freedom to engage nature or introspection in this unique setting, The 42 Social Club's goal is to foster discussion while engaging the greater Lyme community.
NOTE: This project was downsized during the pandemic and Jac Lahav’s involvement as a foster parent. It will be continued as time allows.
