The Museum of Who Let Who Let the Dogs Out Out?  Is a collection of ephemera detailing artists Ben Sisto’s 7+ year investigation into the origins of a musical refrain consisting of the phrase "Who let the dogs out?" paired with "barking" sounds. amassed well over 101 pieces of evidence —LPs, CDs, stuffed animals, press clippings, and court case documents— which open new questions, hold secret histories, and shine some new light on the alter-ego of the lesser known aspects of a pop culture phenomenon. Sisto’s project examines the legacy of a pop sensation while displaying its true underbelly in classic Black Mirror form. The Museum of Who Let Who Let the Dogs Out Out? is the first major public display of these materials, collected over a period of seven years.

Ben Sisto is an artist, organizer, member of the Awesome Foundation (NYC) and works at the Ace Hotel where he oversees the gallery and their artist in residency program.
